Task #1

The first task has the groups completing research about different desert plants and cacti.

• The recorder will print out the Plant Fact Sheet. will write down the information the scientist finds in the spaces.
• The scientist visits web sites.
• The group will chose 2 plants to learn about.

 

	Saguaro Cactus
	Prickly Pear
	Ocotillo
	Barrel Cactus
	Joshua Tree

• The recorder will write down the information the scientist finds in the spaces.
• The illustrator draws a picture of each cactus researched, one for each box.  Illustrators must be sure to color the plant correctly: size, shape, and color.
• When completed, place in group desert folder.
• Move on to Task #2.
