Task 1: Print out your Polar Bear web-scavenger hunt sheet. Answer all the questions using the websites and books listed under Resources.

 

Task 2: Watch at least 2 of the Polar Bear videos and record your observations in your science journal. How do they move? What do they look like? Be specific in your descriptions. Do not forget to date the entry with today’s date.

 

Task 3: Write a 5 sentence paragraph about Polar Bears using your observation notes in your science journal from the video as well as your web-scavenger hunt question sheets. Each person in the group must write their own paragraph.

 

Task 4: Turn in your Polar Bear web-scavenger hunt sheets into the science tray. Be prepared to share your writing with the class. We will be putting together a class Polar Bear book with these paragraphs.
