This Webquest was created as a final
project for ICG 767 : Telecommunications in Education. It was created
in conjunction with a 6th grade Computer Literacy teacher as a way to teach
students how to be safe on the Internet.
In this webquest students are faced with the idea that the internet has been banned from their school by their parents. In order to save the use of the internet the students will work in groups of four to dentify and explain different features of the internet, They will be responsible for becoming an expert in one area as they create an argument for why the internet should be allowed in school. Students will also have a chance to create a poster that outlines 10 rules they have identified that will remind others to play it safe on the internet.
